AI Content Policy

This AI Content Policy explains how artificial intelligence ("AI") is used in producing the stories on pulptale.com (the "Service"), operated by Haodayige Co., Ltd.. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Disclosure of AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content

1.1 The stories on the Service — including the narrative text, cover artwork, and the blurbs and titles that describe them ("Content") — are generated in whole or in part using artificial intelligence tools, under human creative direction and editorial review.

1.2 We label the Service as AI-assisted in the footer of every page, on each story's page, above the first chapter of each story, and at the point of purchase. Absence of a label on a specific page does not imply that the Content there contains no AI contribution; this Policy applies to the Service as a whole.

1.3 Human editors are involved in concept development, prose review, quality control, and final approval before a story is published. AI tools do not publish Content without human review.

2. No Deepfakes; No Use of Real People's Likeness

2.1 We do not use AI to create "deepfakes" or synthetic media that depicts a real, identifiable person doing or saying something they did not do or say.

2.2 We do not use the name, image, voice, or likeness of any real individual (public figure or private person) to generate characters or cover art in our Content without that individual's prior written consent and a documented licence on file.

2.3 Characters and faces appearing in our Content are synthetic and fictional. Any resemblance to an actual person, living or deceased, is coincidental and unintended. If you believe Content depicts you or another identifiable real person without consent, contact support@pulptale.com immediately and see Section 5 for our takedown process.

3. Originality Statement

3.1 We produce Content through an original creative process: premises are developed, structured, drafted, and rewritten by a combination of AI drafting tools and human writers and editors, to produce new narrative works and artwork that are not verbatim copies of any pre-existing copyrighted work.

3.2 Where Content is adapted or re-imagined from an existing work, we take steps to ensure the resulting Content constitutes a materially transformed, original work, and we do not knowingly infringe third-party copyrights. See our DMCA process in the Terms of Service if you believe otherwise.

3.3 Haodayige Co., Ltd. claims copyright in the original elements of Content it produces, to the extent such elements are eligible for copyright protection under applicable law. We note that the copyright status of AI-generated material varies by jurisdiction and may be subject to change as law develops.

4. Quality, Limitations, and Known AI Artifacts

4.1 AI-generated Content may occasionally contain inconsistencies, visual artifacts, factual inaccuracies, continuity errors, or unexpected outputs inherent to current AI generation technology.

4.2 We do not guarantee that AI-generated Content will be free from such imperfections. If defects materially affect your ability to read what you paid for, see our Refund Policy.

5. Reporting Concerns

If you believe any Content:

please contact support@pulptale.com or use the DMCA process described in our Terms of Service. We will review reports and remove or restrict access to Content found to violate this Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AI Content Policy as our production methods, the law, or platform requirements evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
